Brooks England Releases Scape Line of Bike Touring and Bikepacking Bags

Known for their touring-friendly saddles and traditional adventure cycling aesthetic, it was only a matter of time before Brooks developed its own line of bikepacking and touring bags. While we’ve had this forthcoming lineup on our radar for a few months, Brooks accelerated the launch ahead of schedule. With that, here’s a quick rundown of the new Scape range and some of the product highlights. Stay tuned for more details down the road.

The all-new Brooks Scape Travel Bag range offers a fairly unique lineup of 10 bags made for all disciplines of adventure cycling, from touring to bikepacking, and from day rides to gravel racing. Innovative features in the lineup include a fabric that blends a classic look with modern performance, including a 100% waterproof construction. Bags in the Scape series are made from a combination of waterproof 600D polyester and PVC-free nylon to resist rips, tears, abrasions, and UV damage. To keep them waterproof, Brooks employed a high-frequency welding technique for their construction. Other details include removable dry bags, roll-top closures, sealed zips, and flaps above zippers to ensure a high standard of waterproofing in heavy weather conditions.

The Brooks Scape Frame Bag is designed to fit most standard-sized frames. Like other bags in the lineup, it’s made with welded PU-coated nylon and is 100% waterproof, according to Brooks. The bag features two full-length zips and is made for bikepacking, gravel, and day rides.
