Rajesh Dhuddu: Miles for Lives

Rajesh is a Middle Aged Man in Lycra (Mamil) and adorned lycra to clock over 8500+ kms on cycle till date. He took to cycling thinking that it was as easy as getting into lycra pants, but soon realized that it wasn’t that easy; cycling requires commitment and dedication. He learnt these by virtue of cycling with Pedal Yatri one of the leading cycling groups in India. The sojourn with Pedal Yatri took Rajesh to fascinating trails in and around NCR and to places that are generally inaccessible by motored vehicles and a sedentary life. He also had the thrill of cycling in some very enchanting trails in Himachal Pradesh under bandwagon of MTB Himachal; subsequently completing 200 kms in under 9.5 hours that earned him the sobriquet, ‘Randonneur’ and a Brevet medal from Gary Fisher, the inventer of 29er.

While cycling has helped Rajesh improve his fitness levels in middle age and also earned him popularity for his post ride memoirs, he was always keen on using it for welfare of others. The outcome of this thought process is, ‘Tour de Vision’ that aims to channelize the miles of several hundreds of cyclists to pedal the lives of deserving people from darkness to light!
